Rukmani Cahill is an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Engineering and Biology. They joined the Hurley Lab in January 2024 and are investigating the role of circadian shift and Alzheimer's disease on bone integrity and fracture risk using digital image analysis. Rukmani has been dedicated to understanding the effect of various degenerative environments and respective treatments on bone health for two years, generating a novel methodology for dynamic bone histomorphometry. Outside of the lab, Rukmani is invested in any and all medical drama TV shows, accompanied by hiking, knitting, and crochet.
