Isaiah

Isaiah Korostil is a graduate student at the Hurley Lab pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics. Isaiah received his B.S. at Siena College (now Siena University) in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. At Siena, he isolated and studied secondary metabolites within invasive species and other organisms. After undergrad, he worked as a lab tech at AMC where he studied lipid metabolism and inflammation in the context of atherogenesis and circadian disruption. In the Hurley Lab, he is interested in understanding the interactions of the negative arm proteins within the circadian clock. In his free time, he likes to ski, cook/try out unique foods, and play sports with friends.
